Initially established in the early 1990's under the name SüdLeasing (USA) Corporation, SL Financial Services commenced its active leasing and financing operations by the beginning of the year 2000. Our recognition as a reliable market player demonstrates our volume of $352 Mio in 2007. SL Financial Services is ranked under the Top 50 largest bank leasing companies according to the report by Monitor.

The initials "SL" in our name are derived from our parent company SüdLeasing, translated "South Leasing". This name indicates the region of Germany, where SüdLeasing's business was originally started more than 30 years ago. As wholly owned subsidiary of SüdLeasing GmbH, SL Financial Services is part of the LBBW Financial Group.
